When I chose the theme of this month’s issue, “New Music,” it seemed like a natural choice: an opportunity to explore the latest music from those we all love, artists the magazine has interviewed, and music One Direction members have introduced us to. Little did I realize just how timely this choice would be.

Music holds a special place in the human experience. Beyond mere entertainment, it has the power to heal, uplift, and unite us in ways that few other mediums can. It serves as a universal language, transcending barriers of culture, language, and geography. I have always felt that the Larry fandom understands this at a deeper level.

Numerous studies have shown that listening to music can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. This is seen daily on social medias devoted to all 5 members of One Direction. Though it may be biased, when I see these topics talked about amongst fans the answer is usually Louis’ music. Songs like: Don’t Let it Break Your Heart, Just Hold On, Saturdays, and others, tend to be the go-to for a rough mental state.

In this month’s issue, we are thrilled to showcase a diverse array of new music from talented artists we have all grown to love. From emerging indie bands to established icons reinventing their sound, there is something for every music lover to discover and enjoy.
