Welcome to summertime and butterflies–Summer Love! The fics this month are all about finding your soul mate. Most of them have a magical quality that manifests when the souls find each other. In a few weeks, we had a website, articles, and graphics. We set up a Twitter account before the first release. With tactics learned from Louis and Harry, we teased the fandom for 12 days leading up to the website launch. The day of the launch the site promptly crashed from too much traffic, and I knew we were on the right path.

Louis’ experiences at Princess Park, and during that time in general, helped shape who he is as a person and an artist today.

The Larry Weekly podcast is happy to present a special LGBTQ+ episode to celebrate the month of Pride in North America and in the UK. We are glad to announce that we will have two special guests, Vars (@RegionSkies) and Chelle (@BlissfulChelle), who will speak of their own experience within the LGBTQ+ community throughout the years. We will discuss with them what was once Section 28 in the UK, what it was like to be an active member of the community in the 70’s and 80’s

Happy Pride Month! The fics this month are what I’d call “coming of age” – often coming out, discovering one’s sexuality, becoming more like the human you’re meant to be. These stories are sometimes difficult and include characters who aren’t supportive, if not aggressively homophobic. I’d encourage you to read the triggers and proceed accordingly.

I read some new fics for this month’s column as well as some rereads of works I’d forgotten. Sometimes, reading about broken boys and their healing is healing in and of itself. Not that you want anyone to be broken, but it feels empowering (to me anyway) to read about how people can come back from being in dark places.
