I like to include things from the boys’ lives, like people around them or events that happened to them. But I also like to choose original characters, because sometimes it can be hard for the readers to detach themselves from the “real person” and the way they see them in real life. I think it can keep them from enjoying a particular character because they will have that image of them in their mind, whilst in the story it will be completely different.

Kill My Mind had always been a favourite of theirs because of the amount of energy the crowd and Louis himself have when it’s performed. With regards to the Faith In The Future album, they picked Silver Tongues as their favourite, stating, “I knew right when I first heard the song that the line ‘I don’t feel like going home’ would be amazing live, and it does not disappoint.”

Concerts are a huge part of fan culture—there’s nothing better than finding out your favorite artist is going on tour and coming near you. They bring people together and create lifelong memories, but they can also be a new and frightening experience. There’s a few crucial tips and tricks I’ve learned over many years of going to many concerts of various genres. So, here’s seven things that I think everyone should know before going to a show.

I have always been a fan of boy bands. After the 90s boy bands split up in the early 2000s, I got into Japanese boy bands. It was only natural that I got into 1D, too. There was a ship in one of my favourite Japanese bands, Kat-tun, and when I got into 1D I thought that Harry and Louis were very similar to them. There were a lot of parallels, so I got hooked instantly. That was in late 2011, when one part of the ship left Kat-tun. 1D was a distraction at first, but quickly took over my heart.
