There is something special about a Louis Tomlinson concert. Something in the air that’s so unique about his music and his personality that I’ve never seen anywhere else. And what’s even more special is when you’re able to share this experience for the first time with your friends – last minute. It’s very rare to have an artist this famous come to Teatro Antico in Taormina, Sicily, it’s even more rare to have the venue just a few hours away from you.
Unfortunately, we missed the opportunity to snatch the tickets for the LTWT Taormina show in 2022. A week before though, we decided it was worth another try and so, our adventure on fanSALE began. The site is a popular European reseller site, owned by TicketOne – basically Italian Ticketmaster. If you ever bought tickets from fanSALE, you know it’s for fans, to fans. Sometimes life gets in the way of a concert, and instead of letting your ticket go to waste, you sell it through fanSALE. So, we decided to just go for it. What we didn’t expect though was how tough getting these tickets would be. As soon as something went on sale, it would be sold as quickly as it appeared. We felt like that was the actual ticket sale rather than resell tickets. The stress was the same. And then something magical happened, all four of us had tickets in their carts. And, after a bit of screaming, we managed to get them. Chaos ensued as we had to organize a one-day trip for the following week. We decided to use a bus service, specifically for the concert. The bus would bring us directly to the venue and then return immediately after.
